Hello dear brothers and sisters, happy to see you on this second Sunday of Advent What joy, a good time for preparation, have a great Sunday We continue our journey toward Christmas, and today's readings invite us to conversion through collaboration. The first reading is from the book of the prophet Baruch

The prophet Baruch addresses Jerusalem with these themes:

'Jerusalem, take off your robe of sadness and misery' and reveals God's adornment forever. 'Wrap yourself in the cloak of God's justice, put on your head the crown of the glory of the Eternal. God will spread your splendor everywhere under heaven.' A very good news, a very beautiful announcement, and when we say that Jerusalem is blessed. But let's listen more closely to this good news This good news is given with commands. The verbs used here are 'take off your robe, reveal the adornment, wrap yourself, put it on your head, God will unfold. It's an invitation we make to this people to change their posture, their attitude, to see this splendor unfold by God Brothers and sisters, surely in the face of this people's despair, it's a glimmer of hope. But a glimmer of hope that leads the people to effort, that leads the people to action. We have not received a static faith, we have received an active faith. In continuity, we are told, 'Unclog Jerusalem, stand on high and look toward the East. See your children gathering from the east by the word of the Holy God. They rejoice because God remembers.' Yes God remembers. He will always remember us. He will always do certain things for us But what is our part? What are we doing, brothers and sisters? And today, our effort to convert is to turn away from our bad ways, to turn away from our bad habits, certain things we tend to do that do not honor God, and to turn resolutely to God to see His glory in our lives, to see His glory unfold upon us. Brothers and sisters, we have all come under the notion, one might say this is a word of knowledge, but a beautiful word of knowledge that invites us to true conversion, that invites us to see only God, that invites us to return, but to make efforts by changing certain things. We are invited to shed the garment of misery and sadness, and each of us knows our garment of sadness and misery. And in the Gospel of the day, Saint John the Baptist cannot do otherwise, excerpt from Saint Luke, chapter 3, verses 1 to 6 He invites us to change, He invites us to true conversion, and He will ask us to change, to prepare the way of the Lord by changing what? Make these paths straight, all the ravine will be filled, every mountain and hill will be made low, and the crooked paths will be made straight the rough roads will be made smooth, and all living beings will see the salvation of God The salvation of God will come through us, through our actions, through our way of life through what we provide for the people. It's an ideal time for us to reflect on the deserts of our lives Yes, He cries out in the deserts of our lives, and we know our mountains, we know everything that prevents us from seeing God, from speaking, from conversing with Him. We know what we are sitting on, and we know how bitter our deserts are, how harsh our deserts can be. There isn't even an oasis anywhere. Today, we are being offered a hand we are being invited to conversion. We will come out of these deserts when we decide for ourselves to make these paths straight, when we decide for ourselves to make the crooked paths straight We know them, surely pride, hypocrisy, wickedness, jealousy, and more Others as well, where we feel discouraged and lost. We tell ourselves that God is not acting in our lives, but what is our posture, how do we live, and what must we change, what is this garment we must let go of. And the good news is when Saint Paul the Apostle addresses the Philippians, encouraging them to keep going and pray for them so that this love may grow. He reassures this people because he knows that the one they have believed in will not abandon them. And today, he prays for us while asking us to keep making efforts. We will have nothing without effort, we will not enter this splendor without effort We will not enter the glory of God without effort. It is through our efforts that we will declare with the Psalms what a wonderful thing the Lord has done for us. Yes, to be grateful not only the presence of God, but especially the manifestation of His love for us Brothers and sisters, God is waiting for us, He awaits our collaboration. We do not have a faith that is passive; we have an active faith that invites us to action, to turn away from our wrong ways to embrace God's path. May He help us all to achieve this And let us ask for the grace of conversion that transforms us, the conversion that helps us see God differently, the things of God differently for a true commitment, so that the kingdom of God may extend to the ends of the earth. You know it, brothers and sisters, I love you but God loves you even more. Goodbye and have a great Sunday, a very good Sunday Do not weaken, we continue the journey. Goodbye
