Is Africa Ready to Lead the Catholic Church at the Synod on Synodality?

Two African scholars, Sr Prof Dominica Dipio of Makerere University, and Fr Stan Chu Ilo of DePaul University, speak on why they believe that African perspectives and witness will be consequential at the Synod on Synodality. They argue that  Africans have prepared very well for the Synod;  have a clear and united voice on what they want; and have also accepted the mission that God has given to African Catholics to lead the Church at this critical inflection point in human history.
